What is an essential oil?
The essential oils are the liquid oils, that are extracted from the plant parts in concentrated forms. These are the solvent extracted from flowers, leaves, barks, roots of the plant. These oils are extracted by the process of steam distillation, Solvent Extraction, Maceration, Water Distillation, etc. These processes do not contaminate your pure essential oil with any kind of chemicals and are thus preferred. Never use any essential oil that says it is advanced technology and treated with certain effluents. These oils are contamination and can never be stated as pure or organic. The Food and Drug Administration does not affiliate the essential oils thus it becomes quite difficult to check their authenticity. Various Essential Oil Brands that are in the market provide their own authenticity test result to prove the purity of the oil.
