New England has so many great spots for amazing food that an issue isn’t finding where to eat, no matter which city you are in, but actually deciding among all the great options in front of you. When even looking at one city, it’s hard enough to choose a restaurant, so it’s understandable that some of us are feeling a little overwhelmed as to where to choose to visit or even more to.

Portsmouth isn’t afraid to take advantage of its closeness to the sea and that’s enough to make any foodie at least stop through town. That’s quite the selling point but don’t feel like that’s the only thing on offer. There’s also plenty of fresh produce nearby allowing for meals focusing on either seafood or fresh fruits and veggies to be as fresh and exciting as possible.

Portland, ME

Another great option for those looking to find a city that can do it all.  There’s plenty of choice for those looking to have the classic pub experience or a night out at a dimly lit bar. For the early birds, Portland is home to what are considered some of the best bakeries anywhere on the coast.
