American Airlines Flight carrying 148 passengers crashes!

Planes crashing due to low fuel deposition or some technical failure is always noticeable in news. But sometimes it does move out of track to create havoc. The same thing happened with American Airlines Flight 331, a Boeing 737-800 aircraft, which overran the runway on landing at Kingston, Jamaica’s Norman Manley International Airport.
It is said that the flight took off from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, and then took its route towards Miami International Airport finally crashing down at Kingston, Jamaica’s Norman Manley International Airport.
In the midst of this big crash we have a reason to smile as none out of the 148 passengers and 6 crew members is seen getting serious injury.
It was learnt earlier that Jamaican information Minister Daryl Vaz said at least 40 people were injured but there were no reported fatalities. Its indeed a great relief for the family members and friends of the passengers. The passengers were taken aback when the plane jolted heavily with their luggage’s falling from the lockers on top. Some of them were seen with broken bones and minor cuts.
Kingston police officer O’Neil Hinds told AP some people had been taken to hospital. Though it is still not clear as to what could have been the cause of this mishap. Investigations are on and we’ll probably be able to know more on the crash.
We just pray for the passengers’ well being and they should be with their family as soon as possible.
