Amanda Knox verdict expected about 6 p.m. ET Friday!!

A verdict is expected Friday night in an Italian court in the murder trial of American student Amanda Knox The verdict is expected to be announced at 6 p.m. ET or soon after, two lawyers associated with the case said.
On Thursday, Knox took the stand for a third time in the Perugia courtroom, telling jurors that she is not a “killer” who stabbed her former roommate.
The dream study time in Europe has turned into hell for Amanda Knox as it has been more than two years in an Italian jail for Amanda Knox.
It seemed studying abroad in the European culture and having an Italian boy friend was a dream come true for the American student but she soon crossed her limits and turned her fairy tale life into a terror. Amanda’s British exchange roommate Meredith Kercher was killed and she had been charged of murdering and sexually assaulting her. Her boy friend and a guy Rudy Guede, a Ivory Coast native has been charged too.
Rudy, opted for a speedy trial and was convicted and sentenced to 30 years in prison. But Amanda’s defense attorneys are trying hard to save her. They have argued that there’s no motive for murder, and that there’s no physical proof linking Amanda to the scene of the crime. Specifically, they say there’s no trace of Amanda’s footprints or fingerprints anywhere in the room in which Meredith was killed.
Charges against Amanda are:
–Amanda was in the middle of a drug-induced sexual assault.
–Meredith disliked Amanda, thinking she slept around too much and didn’t clean up after herself, and the hostility was mutual.
–The killers staged a clumsy burglary to make it look like someone had broken in the house to kill Meredith.
–Amanda accused a man of the murder who she knew to be innocent, Patrick Lumumba.

11 hours of deliberations, sounds like they went through abit of stuff. Whatever the case, it is a sad state of affairs for everyone involved. By the looks of things, the only real physical evidence they found was the bloody handprint and that was of the other guy.
