26/11 makes the bollywood team come together

Bollywood celebrities say 26/11 was an event that united Mumbai residents and should never be forgotten.
Be it Akshay Kumar or Aamir Khan or Priyanka Chopra, they all look back at the terror attacks a year ago with sorrow and remember those who lost their lives. Starting from Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Priyanka Chopra, Bipasha Basu, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar to John Abraham, Raveena Tandon, Preity Zinta, Suneil Shetty…all united at the point demanding security and peace in the country.
Celebrities came together to raise funds for the 26/11 victims in Mumbai. In London, Thursday 26th November, DVK Foundation hosts the first Commemorative charity gala dinner and auction in The Royal Kensington Palace, London in aid of the 2008 Mumbai terror victims.
The guest list includes business leaders, film stars, and royalty to people personally touched by the attacks and surviving victims. Hosts for the evening are international actor Kabir Bedi and Pooja Bedi symbolising the unity of the people of Mumbai in the face of adversity. The theme is of unity and a united stand against terror. Confirmed names of attendance to note are HRH Prince Michael of Kent, Lara Dutta, Boman Irani, Konkana Sen, Sam Branson, Sabrina Guinness, Ed Bains, Deputy Mayor, Richard Barnes and The Reuben family to name a few. Guests will walk the red carpet in an act of solidarity against terrorism and to support the Foundations good work.
It’s time now to stand up and beat the fear. Hope to see a much secured and peaceful India in the times to come…
