27yrs old Jessie may soon be pronounced UK’s oldest cat

A cat which is approaching her 28th birthday may soon be declared UK’s oldest feline.
The cat named Jessie is owned by one Joyce Elliott, 57, of South Shields, Tyne and Wear.
Elliott is upbeat that the puss is Britain’s oldest cat.
”It would be wonderful if she was declared the oldest cat in the country. She’s still surprisingly sprightly for her age,” the Daily Express quoted Elliott as saying.
In human terms, Jessie will be 129 in August. (ANI)
