Chimp victim Charla Nash hopes for a face implant! A flickering ray of light

Charla Nash an ordinary working mother lived a pretty normal life until one fateful day when she was attacked by her neighbor’s 200 pound chimpanzee. She went through 12 long minutes of torture as the chimp ripped her eyes, nose jaw and literally started eating her.

Once a complete independent woman, Ms Nash is spending her life in the hospital and is completely dependent on her family and nurse for each and every normal day to day activity. After the attack, she can’t use her limbs, is blind, can’t breathe through her nose and drinks her meals through a straw. She has no eyes, nose or jaws in her face.

Ms Nash is the perfect example of human resilience as she still lives on fighting and overcoming all the hurdles of her extremely difficult life. She can only hope to lead a normal life as a self-dependent individual if she is able to get a face transplant, according to her doctors who are treating her.
