Mumbai’s Nariman House in danger of collapsing
- 0 Comments
Mumbai, Nov.30 (ANI): The five-storied Nariman House in Mumbai, which housed a Jewish synagogue, is now in danger of collapsing following the counter-terrorism launched on it by the National Security Guard and other paramilitaries to flush out terrorists.
The building in Mumbai’s Colaba area has been reduced to a hollow concrete structure, with broken windows and massive holes in the ceiling of each of its five floors.
Police and Mumbai civic officials have cordoned off the area, saying that the building is in bad shape and not safe for occupancy.
The twelve families that occupied the building have been asked to move to the nearby Colabawala House. (ANI)
