Manmohan Singh meets Brown ahead of G20 summit

London, Apr 1 (ANI): Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh today met his British counterpart Gordon Brown in London at 10 Downing Street ahead of G20 summit.
They discussed bilateral, regional and international issues before the summit.
India expects the G20 summit to act against trade protectionism and also to promote steps to reform financial institutions.
Earlier, US President Barack Obama met Brown during a breakfast meeting. Both the leaders called for coordinated action by G20 member countries in dealing with the current crisis engulfing the global economy. (ANI)
