Five killed in road mishap in Bihar

Five pilgrims were killed and nine others injured when the jeep in which they were travelling collided head-on with a bus in Bihar’s Munger district today.

The mishap occurred near Bochahi village when they were return from Deoghar after performing ‘jalabhishek’ of Lord Shiva at the famous Baidyanath Dham temple on the last day of Shravan on Sunday

The deceased have been identified as Umesh Mandal, Pravin Singh, Manoj Mandal, Ashok Mandal and Dhanush Tanti.

Three of the injured are undergoing treatment at a government hospital here while six, who were seriously injured, have been referred to Patna Medical College Hospital. (ANI)
