Race2 about to start …Saif and Anil play the leads !

Ramesh Taurani, the producer of Race, declared on Wednesday that Race2, the sequel to Race, will feature Saif Ali Khan and Anil Kapoor as the lead males. Race 2 will be on floors by next year February or March. The sequel will be directed by Abbas-Mustan.

Saif and Anil are the two very important part of the film and cannot be done away with. The rest of the cast is still to be decided. Though, Ramesh declared his lead males, he is tight lipped about the leading ladies. It is not yet decided whether Kareena Kapoor would play the lead role, though Saif confirmed earlier that Bebo will be a part of Race2.

The climax of ‘Race’ was open-ended and two of the protagonists, Akshaye Khanna and Katrina Kaif, who were supposedly killed weren’t actually shown dead on screen. Also, the relationship between the other two characters, Saif and Bipasha Basu, too had been left open for speculation.

Race was stylish, slick and fast. Now let’s hope this sequel to be as racy and spicy as its original and even more slicker and faster…
