Just as people were getting used to seeing Preity at the IPL matches (she is the co-owner of the Indian Premier League team King’s XI Punjab),instead of in the movies, here comes another bit of startling news.
It is certainly the age of the learned. No matter what age one is, a proper training in the requisite field is required. The news is that Preity has joined the Harvard Business School. She has enrolled for a week long course. The course is supposed to be on dealing of Business negotiations and making of deals. It is basically a skill honing course; the actress is aiming to widen her base as a sports business-woman.
The actress is to attend the course from 24th-29th of January 2010, for which she has paid $10,000. This prestigious institution has had by stalwarts like Amartya Sen. as teachers. Now, why does Preity want to spend so much and go to such limits of educating her-self? The answer is that the actress aims at establishing an all –International girl’s basketball team called “Dream-Girls”. The team will comprise of female International film stars, models socialites, eminent sports personalities etc. It is said that she will captain the team herself. This team is to then play against professional basketball teams at the International levels.
The other surprise is that she is all set produce and host a television show a reality based on cricket called ‘Behind the Seams’, featuring her IPL team King’s XI Punjab . Now we are so proud of Ms. Zinta that we can’t help but say-‘Hat’s Off Preity’!

Preity needs to give us all a break seriously. She thinks she is too important and keeps flashing exagerated and irrelevant news about herself to help her sagging looks and sagging career both in acting and business. Its just a 2 day course and costs $2000 and anyone can be admitted to it. Why does she think it is such a huge achievement? But then there does seem some problem with her – she even thinks buying a stake in a cricket team makes her some businesswoman and goes around touting it. Its time we start pitying her for her cluelessness. Its a common adage – when you dont know what you should be doing, the least you can do is to shut up. She is getting on our nerves.
