Oprah still remains highest paid TV talk show host by a mile

American television host Oprah Winfrey is still at the top of the list for the highest paid talk-show personality.

Winfrey’s earnings have left her way ahead of others, with no one coming even close to her position at the top.

The latest Forbes magazine list suggests that Winfrey makes 275 million dollars a year, reports Contactmusic.

The amount is nearly four times what is earned by the second person on the list, radio shock-jock Howard Stern, who earns 75 million dollars a year.

David Letterman shared the third spot with Judge Judy Sheindlin, with the earnings of about 45 million dollars a year each.

Wrapping up the top five was Dr. Phil McGrath with 40 million dollars a year.

The top five highest paid TV personalities are:

1 Oprah Winfrey - 275 million dollars.
2 Howard Stern - 75 million dollars.
3 David Letterman - 45 million dollars.
4 Judge Judy Sheindlin - 45 million dollars.
