‘Equus’ makers show Daniel Radcliffe naked in promos despite promising not to do so

New York, Dec 29 (ANI): The ongoing economic crisis showed its impact on the producers of Broadway’s ‘Equus’ when they broke their promise that lead actor Daniel Radcliffe’s full monty would not be exploited, and used his naked scenes for publicity.

The producers had promised that they would not solely bank upon the ‘Harry Potter’ actor’s naked act to promote ‘Equus’.

However, it seems the economic chill has had quite an effect on them, due to which they could not keep their word, and made an promo for the Peter Shaffer play showing Radcliffe naked to below his navel, reports The New York Post.

Meanwhile, Daniel’s performance has been appreciated in Equus, and despite his full-monty act his performance seems to have overshadowed the buzz around the naked act.

The New York Post critic Clive Barnes commended the actor for his terrific performance, and said that Daniel was not just doing the full Monty. (ANI)
