Charlize Theron’s mom Gerda Theron not happy with her second marriage too!

Charlize Theron’s mom Gerda Theron has had second unsuccessful marriage now.  She has filed for divorce from her second husband – just three years after they tied the knot.  Gerda Theron has cited “irreconcilable differences” in court documents to separate from her unnamed spouse.

According to reports, the actress whisked her mother away to a luxury resort in Mexico for a vacation filled with non-stop pampering to get over the recent
split. The break-up comes nearly two decades after the actress witnessed Gerda shoot her abusive father dead in an act of self-defence, when the Monster star was just 15 years old.

Police pressed no charges in the incident, which South African-born Theron has credited with bringing the two closer. Theron has said of their relationship: “(We are) friends from way back because we were the only ones there for each other”. (JMA/NE/IG)
