Cameron Diaz’s ‘The Box’ boxes her out of the megastar league. Is she over?

Camero Michelle Diaz, the blue-eyed blonde has delivered a movie that stalls her career at a time when it was in dire need of a strong boost. Her film that opened this november has drawn bucketful of flaks from the movie-buffs and has been rated one of the worst films ever made. Directed by Richard Kelly, ‘The Box’ is based on a 1970 short story ‘Button Button’ penned by Richard Matheson and stars a lesser known James Marsden opposite her. The wafer-thin plot revolves around a box that the couple receive under mysterious conditions with a million dollar bucks offered by the sender( watch the film to know more; but don’t blame us for recommendation).

The  37-year old actress who scorched the silverscreen with her dazzling looks & sapphire-blue-eyes in ‘The Mask’ & ‘My Best Friend’s Wedding’  has certainly  been showing signs of ageing with wrinkles and creases looming large on her face. Her milky-white face that used to emanate radiance akin to the resplendence of the moon has, of late, lost its sheen. Barring a few films like ‘Gangs of New York’ and ‘John Malkovich’, the actress has hardly done credible roles & her downward trajectory has co-incided with the meteoric rise of Oscar-winning ladies like Kate Winslet & Angelina Jolie.

So, her latest outing ‘The Box’ may well be the last nail into her coffin unless she does something out of the box to revive her sinking career. As her beauty reaches its twilight, will she be able to ressurect from her grave??
