Comedian Katt Williams arrested for burglary and criminal trespass charges in a west Georgia

Over the ages comedians have always had a clichéd image of a nice guy. Here is an event that surely did help to put a scar on that image.

It was early this morning when our very own and very funny comedian Katt Williams allegedly “gained entry by breaking into the home, and items were taken from the residence.” Coweta County Sheriff’s Office Major James Yarbrough said that the items where jewelry of some kind. No further details were available as calls to his manager and publicist were not immediately returned.

Katt is scheduled to go before a judge later this afternoon. Comedian Katt proved that comedy is in his blood by sporting a wide smile during his mug shot photo.

It’s not the first time that Katt got into trouble; he was arrested on weapon charges after being pulled over with three handguns in his vehicle in November 2008. It was in the same month, when the police were given a call to a motel were the comedian was wandering in the parking lot in a bathrobe with a towel over his head. Now that’s what they call “Living up to the name!”
