Britney Spears : Britney buys pet parakeet at end of Circus tour

Pop princess Britney Spears has decided to treat herself to a pet parakeet as her Circus world tour comes to an end.

Spears, 27, who was out shopping for dog food at a Calabasas, California, pet store on September 30, fell for the birdie and bought it.

“She settled on a yellow parakeet and bought a big, white cage and several toys for the bird,” Contactmusic quoted an eyewitness as having told People.com.

Meanwhile, the Toxic singer is said to have spent 2,000 pounds on sugary delicacies during the North American leg of her tour to pamper her sweet tooth. (ANI)
