Antonio Banderas : Antonio Banderas to return onstage with Zorba The Greek

Spanish actor Antonio Banderas is all set to return on stage with a new production of Zorba The Greek.

The Mask of Zorro star will play the lead character of Zorba, previously tackled by Anthony Quinn in 1964.

“I want to go back to theatre because it is my main source, I’m more a theatre actor than a film actor,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

The Hollywood heartthrob was recently honoured with the President’s Prize at Karlovy Vary Film Festival in the Czech Republic

The 48-year-old was previously lauded on Broadway for his performance as the lead star of the musical Nine. (ANI)
