Anna Nicole Smith : Anna Nicole Smith’s ex beau, doctors to go on trial

Former Playboy Playmate Anna Nicole Smith’s ex-boyfriend and two doctors are set to go on a trial amid accusations that they illegally supplied her with prescription drugs.
Smith was found unconscious in her room at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino near Hollywood, Florida, in February 2007.
A post-mortem report said the American model died of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs including anti-depressants, reports Sky News.
Her former lover Howard K Stern and his associates Dr. Khristine Eroshevich and Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, were charged with conspiracy to feed the star’s drug addiction.
And now, they are to stand trial after a judge in Los Angeles made the ruling based on a hearing to determine if there was enough evidence against them.
All the three defendants have pleaded not guilty. (ANI)

I think it’s great that they are prosecuting this- the justice system will have it’s chance to determine guilt or innocence in this case, but the bottom line is that this prosecution is important to deterrance of future acts. It’s high time that the celeb entourage commnunity got the message that it is not ok to cater to the celeb’s every whim if that includes breaking the law!
