‘All The Best’, ‘Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani’ and Prem Chopra!

To begin with we have heard of innumerable film titles that are similar. Either they are new films with borrowed film titles or they are simply remakes of the original. The fact that many of our top stars have used the same names for many of their movies is not new to us either.But has anyone ever heard of the same character names in two different movies? Now that’s what we are about to tell you . The latest bollywood releases ‘All The Best’ and ‘Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani’ have the lead heroes Ajay Devgan [he has opted to delete the ‘A’ from his surname ] and Ranbir Kapoor who star in the films respectively have played characters with the name of ‘Prem Chopra’.It is the most infamous name   of the yesteryear actor that Ajay ‘s character is inspired from in ‘All The Best’ , but Ranbir’s character Is given the name to pull off an elaborate gag on the very talented villain actor that our bollywood has ever seen. Ajay has our very vivacious and stunning Bipasha Basu to romance in the film where as Ranbir has the most beautiful and attractive Katrina Kaif for romance. According to scribes both the movies are supposed to be the most hilariously crazy comedy works of bollywood.

All The Best is directed by Rohit Shetty , where as Ajab Prem Ki Gajab kahani  is directed by Raj Kumar Santoshi. However, Ajay and Raj Kumar Santoshi have worked together in THE Legend of Bhagat Singh, which was a National award winning film.

All The Best Has already released in Diwali on the 16th of October, but Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani is yet to be released with the slated date being November 6th.

So it remains to be seen that who is more convincing as the original bad man of Hindi cinema. Here is a bit of information about our original villain Prem Chopra, for those who didn’t know. Inspite of terrifying top leading ladies on screen for Decades, he was and still is the most dignified actors of bollywood. It is a known fact amongst insiders that as soon as the cameras stopped rolling, he would quietly sit and wait for the next shot to be called, it is said that he respected Women so much that all the leading ladies were very impressed with him and his manners. Now what can we say to that? All we can say is that it takes a real good guy to play a bad guy on screen. So who belongs to which Category? Hard to tell isn’t it?
