AC/DC named Australia’s Richest Entertainers

AC/DC have topped a poll of the ‘Australia’s Richest Entertainers’.

The rockers, who formed in Sydney in 1973, topped the 2009 BRW Top 50 Entertainers list, reports the Daily Express.

The ‘Back in Black’ hitmakers claimed the title with their yearly income of 59.4 million pounds.

Aussie pop princess Kylie Minogue came second with 26.25-million-pound yearly earnings.

Children’s musical group The Wiggles stood third while New Zealand-born actor Russell Crowe came fourth.

Country music star Keith Urban rounded off the top five while his actress wife Nicole Kidman came ninth in the poll. (ANI)
