Pepsi CEO Indra Nooyi ‘attends foreign policy dinner with Obama’

Washington, Jan 17 (ANI): Pepsi CEO Indra Nooyi attended dinner last Thursday with Barack Obama and a handful of foreign policy experts and top aides, according to sources.

The foreign policy experts gathered at Ronald Regan Building. They mainly consisted of scholars on the Middle East and South Asia.

The guests included among others Iran scholar Haleh Esfandiari, Pakistani journalist Ahmed Rashid, who was flown in from Lahore and Samatha Power from Harvard University, who is Obama’’s friend and his foreign policy advisor, the Politico has learnt.

Nooyi, originally from Chennai, is a former management consultant who didn”t support Obama publicly during the campaign. (ANI)
