Droid Launch by Motorola with Sprint network in Newyork city !!!

After a long wait, finally Motorola launched their most advertised handset Droid on last Friday. From now on, it will available in open market alongside HTC Droid with Sprint network.
The weight of this 4.56 by 2.36 inches phone is just less than 6 ounce. It has a touch screen display of 3.7 inch with 845 by 480 pixels. Droid offers DVD quality video recording with 5 mega pixel camera and slide out QWERTY keyboard. It contains 550 MHz processor with 256 build-in memory and the microSD card of 16 GB is expandable up to 32 GB. The unique features of the phone include turn-by-turn GPS navigation and Aneroid 2.0 operation system. Droid is able to connect with Google’s aneroid market and supports 1000 of downloadable applications.
If bought with a two years contract, Droid will cost around $ 199.99 where customers need to pay $ 299 as upfront and will get a mail-in rebate of $100. Customers can get the instant rebate if purchase is done from Best-Buy. Droid requires a minimum verizon voice plan of 450 minutes or $39.99. The data plan for Droid should be unlimited with an extra cost of $ 29.99.
The introductory sale offer will start at Verizon flagship store on 34th street in New York City.
